How we find and fix the leak.

Leak-source diagnosis & photo documentation

We trace the leak to its actual source (not just the stain on your ceiling) and photograph the damage and the repair, so you have a record for your files or an insurance claim.

Goof-screw re-fastening

We re-tighten screws that have backed out (using oversized ‘goof screws’ where the original holes are worn) so every screw is seated and sealed again.

Neoprene washer replacement

Failed rubber screw washers (neoprene washers) are replaced, restoring the waterproof seal at each screw.

Re-seal pipe boots & openings

We re-seal the rubber boots around pipes and the other roof openings so water has no path through the panel.

Flashing & seam repair

We repair the flashing and seams that have lifted, separated, or failed.

Repairs painted to match

What causes most metal roof leaks?

Almost always backed-out screws or worn-out flashing (the metal that seals roof edges and joints). New Mexico’s heat works screws loose over time, and once a screw loses its grip, water follows it straight through the panel. The seals around pipes and the edges of the flashing are the other common entry points.

How do you find where the water is actually getting in?

We inspect the roof itself (not just the ceiling stain) because water travels. We check every screw row, roof opening, and flashing edge to find the actual entry point, and we photograph it before we touch anything.

Is storm or hail damage covered by insurance?

It may be. We document every repair with photos of the damage and the fix. That’s the record your adjuster will want to see. If the damage looks like a storm event, we’ll flag it so you can decide whether to file a claim.

Is there a plan that keeps my screws and flashing from failing again?

Yes. Screws back out and flashing seals dry out again on a cycle, usually every year or two in New Mexico’s heat. Paramount Care is our maintenance membership: it schedules an annual visit to re-seat fasteners and re-seal flashing before they fail, and it documents each visit for your manufacturer warranty and any future insurance claim.
