See what you get
in writing.

Most of what a roofer gives you is paper: a report after a visit, a letter for a lender, a warranty, a set of photos. This page shows you what ours actually look like, so you can read one before you ask for it.

Sample documents

Read one before you ask for one.

Both samples below are complete documents, not screenshots or excerpts, and both are built from an invented home so nothing about a customer is on this website. Each one prints on a page.

  • The Roof Health Report

    What it is

The report a Paramount Care member gets by email after every included visit. It says how the roof is doing in plain words, what we took care of while we were up there, what we would repair and why, and when we will be back. Photos from the visit come with it, and the record is yours to keep whether or not you stay a member.

    Who asks for it

A homeowner gets one automatically with a membership. A shingle manufacturer asks for exactly this kind of record before honoring a warranty claim, and an insurer or a buyer asks what condition the roof was in and when.

  • The roof condition letter

    What it is

A one page letter stating what we observed on the roof, on which dates, what condition it is in on a fixed four step scale, and what we recommend. It carries our license number and it says plainly what it is not: a letter about the day we looked, never a warranty or a promise about the future.

    Who asks for it

Usually asked for by a lender during a refinance, an insurer at renewal, or a buyer’s inspector during a sale. Paramount Care Commercial members can request one at any time and we write it from the inspections already on file.

Questions

What people ask about these.

Are these real customer documents?
No, and they never will be. Both samples are written about a home and a building that do not exist, at streets that do not exist, with photos from this website rather than anyone’s roof. We do not publish a customer’s report, address or photos, even with the name taken off. What is real is the format: both samples are produced by the same code that produces the documents we send.
Do I have to be a member to get a Roof Health Report?
The report comes with a Paramount Care membership, after each included visit. You do not need a membership to get a written estimate or to have us look at a roof and tell you what we find. Ask us either way.
Can I use these documents for a warranty or an insurance claim?
That is what they are for, and it is also where honesty matters. A report or a letter documents the condition of the roof on the day we inspected it, which is the evidence a manufacturer, an insurer or a lender usually asks for. Neither document is a warranty or a guarantee, and whether any of those parties accepts it is their decision, not ours.
Can I ask for a condition letter for my house rather than a building?
Ask us. The letter is part of Paramount Care Commercial because lenders and insurers ask for it on commercial buildings most often, but if you need something in writing about a home during a sale or a refinance, call and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
