Warranties
Backed in writing.
Two ways.
Every roof we install is backed two ways — the manufacturer’s material warranty on the product, and Paramount’s 10-year workmanship warranty on the installation. Both are registered and delivered to you, in writing.

The dual-warranty difference
Two warranties. One roof.
A roof can fail two ways: the materials can be defective, or the install can be done wrong. So every Paramount roof carries two separate warranties that cover both — there’s no gap to fall through, and no finger-pointing between the manufacturer and the installer.
Warranty one — the materials
Manufacturer material warranty
Your shingles, panels, membrane, and underlayment come backed by the people who made them. If a covered product fails on its own, the manufacturer stands behind it — from a 30-year underlayment warranty to a lifetime warranty on metal.
Covers the product against defects.Warranty two — the work
Paramount workmanship warranty
The best materials still leak if they're installed wrong. So we back our own installation in writing for 10 years on every replacement and restoration. If something we did lets water in, we come back and fix it — no fine-print runaround.
Covers how it was installed.Manufacturer material warranties
Coverage on the product, by system.
The roof surface and the layers under it each come with the manufacturer’s own material warranty against defects. Coverage runs from years to a full lifetime, depending on the system you choose.

Owens Corning Preferred Protection
The one warranty that covers both.
Most material warranties cover the product but not the labor to fix it. Because we’re an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor, your OC shingle roof can carry 10-year TRU PROtection™ coverage — which covers both the materials and the laborif a covered defect shows up. It’s a level of protection only OC’s vetted contractors can register.
- 10-year TRU PROtection on Owens Corning shingle roofs
- Covers materials AND the labor to repair a covered defect
- Only Preferred Contractors can register it for you

Paramount workmanship warranties
We stand behind our own work.
A material warranty doesn’t cover a bad install — ours does. The term depends on the job: a full replacement or restoration carries our 10-year workmanship warranty, and maintenance work carries a 3-year warranty. They’re separate coverages, never blended into one number.
10-year
Workmanship warranty
All replacements & restorations.
3-year
Workmanship warranty
Maintenance services.
The fine print
What’s covered — and what isn’t.
No surprises and no buried clauses. Here’s exactly how the coverage works, in plain terms.
- Workmanship warranties cover installation, not material defects — those fall under the manufacturer warranty.
- Warranties require the roof not be altered by others without written authorization.
- They don't cover acts of God, foot traffic, or physical damage.
- Transfer is subject to written approval.
- All warranties are applied for and issued on receipt of final payment.
Paramount Care keeps your manufacturer warranty valid by documenting the maintenance it requires — it’s a separate 3-year maintenance plan, not part of the workmanship warranty above.
