Overview
A full roof tear-off makes a surprising amount of debris: old shingles, underlayment (the layer under the shingles), flashing (the metal that seals roof edges and joints), nails, fasteners, and whatever the decades hid underneath. That material doesn't belong in your yard, driveway, or landscaping — and the nails in it belong nowhere near your tires, your pets, or a child's bare foot.
Debris removal and cleanup is included in every Paramount tear-off, not an afterthought. We load and haul off all tear-off material, run a magnet over the ground around your home, and do a final walk of the property before we call the job done. New Mexico driveways and desert yards have nowhere for nails to hide — which is exactly why we don't leave any.
Part of a roof replacement
This is usually one piece of a larger project. We fold it into your residential roof replacement or commercial roofing so it’s scoped, scheduled, and warrantied as one job.
What’s involved
Full tear-off haul-off
Every piece of old roofing — shingles, tile, metal panels, underlayment, flashing, and rotted decking — is loaded and removed from your property. Nothing gets buried in your yard or left at the curb.
Magnetic nail sweep
After the debris is cleared, we run a rolling magnetic sweeper around the edges of your home, over the driveway, and through any ground-level areas where nails can scatter during tear-off. It's the step that protects tires, pets, and bare feet.
Gutter and downspout clearing
Tear-off debris works its way into gutters. Before we leave, we clear them out so your gutters aren't washing a load of grit and nail bits into your downspouts the next time it rains.
Final property walk
A crew lead walks the property with the homeowner before we pack up — checking the driveway, the yard, and any patio or outdoor area near where we worked. If something got missed, we get it before the truck leaves.
